1. The paving environment is very important
The construction environment when laying vitrified tiles is very important, and the construction temperature should be between 5°C and 35°C. Because vitrified brick paving usually uses cement mortar as a binder, low temperature will reduce the hydration rate of cement, resulting in low early strength; and the water required for cement hydration will evaporate at high temperature, resulting in poor construction performance. The higher the temperature, the shorter the working time, the faster the cement setting, the earlier the mortar hardens, and the worse the water retention performance.
Of course, it is not recommended to lay vitrified tiles under strong winds. 2. Stirring of the paste is very important
In order to make vitrified tiles paving firmly, it is very important to mix and stir the adhesive evenly. First of all, the material must be weighed in strict accordance with the instructions and requirements of the adhesive. Then, pour the liquid (water) component of the two-component into the mixing tank, and add half of the powder component to the mixing tank, and then stir at 300r/min, while stirring, add the remaining powder group Minute. 3. the paving method is very important
The paving method of vitrified tiles is generally divided into two types: thick-layer back-pasting method and thin-layer construction method. The thickness of the thick layer backing method is about 15mm, which is easy to cause waste of tiles, and may increase the probability of cracking of the adhesive layer. It also makes a large cavity behind the tiles, which leads to the reduction of indoor space. In contrast, the thickness of the thin-layer construction method is only about 4mm, the back of the tiles is full and dense, and does not occupy the indoor space, the efficiency of paving is also higher, and the amount of tiles can also be saved.
